Welcome to the website of the Committee on Review of Public Service Broadcasting!

As you may be aware, the Committee has been established by the Government to review public service broadcasting in Hong Kong and to make recommendations to the Chief Executive on the structure, funding, governance, management, monitoring and accountability of the public broadcaster. It is hoped that these recommendations would address Hong Kong's immediate, medium and long-term public broadcasting needs.

To accomplish this, the Committee needs and welcomes input from both the professional and the public. In addition to meeting with and listening to the management and rank-and-file of Radio Television Hong Kong, the commercial broadcasting licensees, the legislators and special interest groups, the Committee looks forward to receiving views and suggestions from the public at large.

This website is one of the important means of soliciting public opinions. So, please keep sending us your thoughts on this very important subject. Your input is imperative for the Committee to come up with recommendations that truly reflect not only what Hong Kong people want, but also what they need in the area of public service broadcasting.
