The Committee on Review of PSB has:

  • held meetings with the management team of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) and RTHK Programme Staff Union;
  • conducted a series of consultation sessions with commercial and other broadcasting service in Hong Kong ;
  • invited the Panel on Information Technology and Broadcasting of the Legislative Council to a meeting to discuss PSB; and
  • conducted a roundtable discussion session with representatives from local tertiary institutions that offer communication, journalism and media-related courses.

To reach out to the wider community and obtain their input, the Committee has issued over 400 letters to invite written submissions from -

  • internet-related professional bodies;
  • media-related professional bodies;
  • other professional bodies;
  • education sector;
  • cultural sector;
  • sports sector;
  • social services sectors
  • human rights concern groups;
  • think tanks;
  • religious groups; and
  • political groups.
